It is the core objective of Argyll Biotechnologies, LLC to continue the development of SF-1019, its cognates and its variants for treatment of multiple medical conditions. Argyll Biotechnologies, LLC and its Scientific Team believe that SF-1019 and/or these cognates and variants, which have been granted to Immunosyn via an exclusive, worldwide license agreement, may eventually be used as:
- A replacement for the use of antibiotics as the therapy of choice for infectious diseases thus reducing usage of antibiotics and decreasing pressure that drives the development of antibiotic resistant bacterial strains.
- A new and affordable therapy for serious infectious diseases that devastate the third world developing countries such as cholera, dysentery, and tuberculosis.
- A “prophylactic” for short term protection in a bio-terrorism arena or other contagion environs.
- A “prophylactic” to patients undergoing major surgery to prevent post-operative infection.
- A means to provide “long term” protection as a vaccine adjuvant.
- A safe and effective therapeutic for the prevention and treatment of seasonal influenza outbreaks.
- As an adjunctive with other agents for the treatment of drug resistant infections.
- A means to “scavenge and kill” metastasis cells in patients undergoing chemotherapy or surgery for the treatment of neo-plastic disease as demonstrated in clinical tests where ICPF prevented tumorogenesis in melanoma challenged models, Ohio University, Mississippi State University, University of Mississippi and Louisiana State University.
- As a therapeutic to prevent or treat current strains of Avian Flu (presently being explored).
Pre-clinical human studies, animal studies and laboratory data undertaken at the direction of Argyll Biotechnologies, LLC demonstrate a wide range of potential prophylactic and therapeutic applications. We believe that SF-1019 is a readily available platform technology that will spawn further research and additional benefits to the human condition.
